Zucchini Cake - Feta Tart

Always according to the ingredients available in the fridge, I came across this recipe for savory cake Marmiton on the site. I adapted to my sauce, making a cake for cause over cake pan. That what happens:

Zucchini Cake - feta
- 200 g flour
white - 30 g oatmeal
- 500 g zucchini
- 3 / 4 block Feta
- 4 tbsp olive oil garlic and herbs (which comes with garlic confit in olive oil, see this entry )
- 140 g white cheese
- 3 eggs
- a remnant of Emmental
grated - 1 / 2 teaspoon baking soda

For the procedure is the same as Marmiton. The only differences have been adding oats to flour mixture + bicarbonate, then adding grated cheese after the olive oil.

We ate it hot with a raw tomato, and it was pretty good. Not unlike a lot of dry cake, light but nourishing.

Why Do Men Like To Touch



In fact, it is a pie silverbeet (or chard), but the season is over so it has no great interest! I would say that this recipe can be replaced by chard spinach, zucchini (by making good sweat in the pan to remove excess water), and in fact, any vegetable, removing excess water when needed. I made it with leeks, but this is really the season either. Let me explain how I do with chard.

chard tart
for pulp :
-flour, weatherstripping, complete with cereal, choice ... 200 g
-salt, a pinch-
oatmeal * 2 large handfuls
olive-oil, 4 tbsp water


for garnish :
-chard (ribs + green), about 5-6
-cheese (or ricotta), approx.
-125g eggs (2 or 3)
milk (if ricotta)
log-goat (1 / 3 or 1 / 2)-
a little grated cheese (optional)
olive-oil-
salt, pepper, chives


Put water to boil.

Prepare the dough: Combine flour , salt and oatmeal then the 4 tablespoons of olive oil . Add the water gradually until the consistency of a pastry. Refrigerate one hour (but it works less well).

While dough rests, separate the ribs of of green chard . Peel the ribs and cut into small pieces, coarsely chop the green (I give some scissors). Wash everything.

Discard ribs in boiling water, then the green 5 minutes later. When the ribs are well ramolllies (tested with the tip of a knife), drain well and squeeze out excess water. Drain over the sink.

In a bowl, beat 2 or 3 eggs (depending on size) and then add 5 tablespoons of cream cheese (or a pot of ricotta , which must 125g). Pour a small trickle of olive oil the chives cut very fine salt and pepper. If using ricotta, the preparation may be too thick in this case dilute with a little milk . If you're hungry, you can add the grated Emmental or Parmesan in preparation (with cubes of feta , it must be good too).

Spread the dough and line a pie plate. Prick the bottom and arrange the beets. Pour cream cheese (this is a case in migaine sum), cut the goat cheese into thin slices and arrange on pie.

Bake and watch the cooking (it cooked something like 30-45 minutes, but it depends on the ovens and age of the captain).

Serve with a nice salad lettuce, tomatoes .

After long months of absence, I'm back. Indeed, for a few months, this blog could be called: I'm pregnant so I do not know what to eat! And yes, I expect a happy event, but hormones have completely revolutionized my eating habits for a few months. I found my bearings only 4-5 weeks since, little by little. It's pretty disturbing at first I really did not know what to eat.

I give you here a small and simple dish delicious, only made from good ingredients, that the title very simply patties with chickpea flour, fried zucchini and rice .

It begins by putting the rice water heating is very simple.

Then we attack the zucchini: put heat the olive oil then when it is hot, pour in the pan a teaspoon of curry and 1 / 2 tablespoon ginger powder. Meanwhile washed and details of onions into small pieces, which is poured into the pan when the spices release their fragrance. It brings back a few minutes, and add the zucchini cut cubes and then 2 or 3 cloves garlic cut into small pieces. Is baked possibly adding a little water to prevent any burning.

We forget to cook rice when the water boils.
